Kimberly Kim gets easy first wins at the U.S Girl's Junior Championship
15 year old Kimberly Kim easily won the U.S Girls junior Championship in its first day of play
The future gold star trailed by 3 holes but but managed to win both matches.
The Hawaiian native shot 10 under par 62 and beat Cheyenne Woods, the niece of superstar Tiger Woods.
Kimberly, who now lives in Temecula, California, was one of 17 to qualify for the U.S Girls junior tournamnet, and came back during the session to beat both Tessa Teachman and Amy Ruengmateekhun.
The youngster’s only other victory to date was two years ago at the AJGA, making her the youngest winner for the tournaments histoy.
