Tiger Woods Bludgeons way to Title at the Firestone Country Club's WGC Invitational

Tiger Woods Wins Bridgestone Invitational Tiger Woods has forced a win at the bridgestone invitational with shear brute force.

Woods took the WGC Invitational at Firestone Country Club after beating off  Rory Sabbatini.  England’s Justin Rose ended up finishing second equal with Sabbatini.

“That was fun,” said Woods, who clinched a second hat-trick of wins in the event - a US Tour record

“You couldn’t get off to any better start than I did today - I was four under through five.

With the win Tiger Woods remains at the top of the world rankings with a number one spot.

Rory Sabbatini had been controversially talking himself up.
